NFC (Near-Field Communication) is the tap-to-open technology inside every review card, plate and stand. On most phones it is already switched on — here is where to check.
NFC is always on — there is no setting to find. Just wake the screen and tap the top of the phone flat against the card. A notification pops up within a second.
Settings → Connections → NFC and contactless payments → on. Then tap the middle of the phone's back against the card.
Settings → Connected devices → Connection preferences → NFC → on. Tap the back of the phone against the card.
Usually under Settings → Connected devices, Network or "More" → NFC. Every card also carries a dynamic QR code as backup — the camera app opens it without any settings at all.
